Volunteer Opportunities: March 2025
Volunteer opportunities in South Jersey happening in March 2025
Hello, dear readers,
February was… quite a month. Everyone doing okay? Still with me? Am I okay? Oh, well, to quote Jane Fonda’s character Grace from Grace and Frankie, I’ve learned to live with a very flexible definition of the word “okay.” But we’re in this together, my dear readers. The horrors persist, but so do we.
Cliches aside, I had been planning to write about the devastating news about the NPS and USFS in another post, but my emotions about it feel a little too heavy to parse through right now. For now I’ll just say, our work here is absolutely crucial. National Parks are public land, they belong to us, the people. And no piece of land is too small to care about. Every little bit of energy we put into our care for this planet counts. And you better believe I’m continuing to channel my rage into action.
On a lighter note, I am looking forward to actually getting out to some of the amazing events I’m highlighting this month! I am now officially an employee of Cedar Run, and it is literally my job to attend some of their events, and soon I’ll get to create them as well. Additionally, I’m so excited to welcome a whole slew of new readers. Welcome and thank you all so much for signing up to get Circularity in your inbox. It means the world to me! If there is anything I can do to improve the way Circularity shows up for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Without further ado, please find below the volunteer opportunities I have rounded up for you happening in the month of March. I hope you have the time to get out to one!
Keep heart,
Shannon

Event: Make Polluters Pay: Rally and Assembly Energy and Environment Committee - I am trying my best to get to this one!
